Datanlí coffee is grown in a true sanctuary of biodiversity, the Reserva Coperaco, nestled in the heart of the Datanlí - El Diablo natural reserve in Nicaragua. Only 15% of this land is used for coffee cultivation, while the rest consists of majestic mountains and pristine water sources, preserving a rich and untouched ecosystem.
The reserve is home to an incredible biological diversity, including more than 250 species of birds, one of which is the famous Quetzal. This legendary bird emerges from its nest every morning to bask in the first rays of sunlight, symbolizing the harmony between nature and the cultivation of our coffee.
The exceptional quality of Datanlí is a direct result of the unique microclimatic conditions of its production area. The altitude, the diverse flora and fauna, and the careful attention given to every step of cultivation combine to create a coffee that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
100% of proceed of this coffee goes to our Natural Reserve.
